"What part of Alabama are you around? As I said, I am in birmingham. Currently, we are hosting a monthly blind wine tasting by varietal. Though, if you really wanted a good time, me and me wine friends (about 3 or 4 people), sometimes host our own private tastings of about 3-5 bottles. I'm trying to convince my husband that not all wine is bitter and dry! And I'd like to take (drag) him to a wine tasting. I've never been to one myself. Maybe we could make one of yours!"

in this line of thought, I have a question as well. How long do you normally let a bottle of red reach room temp before drinking? I am actually right now letting a bottle warm and have a glass...
has anyone had any experience with the Vassani wine coolers? They are on sale at home depot black friday...but they are not on their website and i cant find the Vassani web site.
Just out of curiosity, did you have to get a permit to dig under your house? Also, are you making it so you enter the cellar from the kitchen? as in you have a door in the floor? I blue print...
