I've only been once, but I throughly enjoyed the tour at Rubicon. Beautiful grounds and buildings. Cakebread was decent - we did their sensory evaluation experience. Definitely enjoyable.

A solid chardonnay. A bit oaky and full flavored, which is what I like in a chardonnay. I even thought the finish was a creamy...but maybe I was just influenced by the name ;)
Thanks for your input, Jimmy! The Pinot will likely rank high on the list tonight, unless the heat and humidity going on here do us in... If it does, we'll definitely try your cooking tip...
