I am a Rabbinical student in NYC at the Jewish Theological Seminary. I like my wine, bright, rich, mature, developed, seductive, and with a nice set of legs! Nothings better than a great bottle of wine!

Dear jhack287,

Hello!

This is Daniel Shin, studying in MSc Food Management at University of Surrey.
I am studying the consumer's wine buying behaviour online.
This research seeks the opinion of people who have had an experience purchasing wine either online or from other sources to investigate factors influencing customers’ wine purchasing behaviour in online shopping.
I have to find at least 100 people who have an experience of buying wine online.
If possible, could you send the questionnaire to members and ex-members?
It is linked to http://freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=jj73z5zbvz3kxvj610601
And if you cannot link to survey, please copy and paste the address on the web.
It just takes 1 min to answer the questionnaire.
I would be most grateful, if you could spare your time to send the questionnaire.
If you want to see research results, then I will send you after analysing the survey.
The research will contribute to a MSc dissertation in Food Management at the University of Surrey.
Any information provided will ONLY be used for research purposes.
All responses will be treated with the strictest confidence.
I am only in interested in obtaining consumers' views.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind Regards,

Daniel Shin

dmcker, I would like to answer your questions on the need for mevushal or cooked wines. I have not checked the forum in a while. Wines that have gone through this process of mevushal can be...

Adam Levin the Snooth Admin suggested I go to the "Talk" Forum with my question to him.

I found your thread and so I thought I would send you this message. You can reply on Snooth or email me at schutzer@mail.com with any thoughts you might have about my idea.

Let me explain to you what it is I'm trying to do. I am in contact with a well known high end "cult" California winery which is considering making a kosher cuvee if we can sell it en primeur.

So I need a list of people willing to order bottles which won't be delivered for about 2 and a half years.

One of the attractive aspects of this deal for participants is that if they are not currently on the mailing list of this particular winery, they can get bottles (albeit of the kosher version) of this highly sought after wine which they normally would not be able to do.

Please let me know what you think.

All the best,
