I agree with WineGent ~ a Kabinett will be "hoptroken" (spelling) meaning down the middle. Not too dry and not too sweet, such as Robert Muller Kabinet. Great place to start! Enjoy...

"That's awesome! I'm about all Irish. Not sure exactly where I come from. My dad did a family history book but he passed away 7 yrs. ago and I have not been able to get through the entire book to decipher exactly where his origin is. :) My mother's father came to the Midwest on an orphan train from East Coast so don't know exactly where he arrived in America from. I would love to research it to find out but not really sure where to start on him.
On the twist off thing, I really like them for ease and also for the next 0 possibility of corked wine. Did you start a forum on this?

This blend is 37% Shiraz, 36% Cab, and 27% Merlot. The nose is dark plum and chocolate, velvety smooth. Great BBQ wine!

Twist off's dont have too much style appeal, but they are easy to open. Honestly, i've been seen drinking box wine, so nothing fancy here.
Lets start a thread on the forum and see what the others think. there's a fair mix of people on snooth

This wine is one that only becomes even more intriguing when introduced to air. I decanted this wine and after a couple hours, it had a "WOW" aroma and an even better, amazing...
This Cab is "orgasmic". It is the BEST Cab I have ever had. It leaves you saying, "WOW" with each sip. There is a hint of mint with the spice in this cab with a great long...
This is a great "bold" merlot. It has hints of spice in the finish while also being very smooth on the palate. Great with pasta or just in front of the fire...
