I'm new to the wine industry-recent college grad w/marketing degree, ended up working for a small winery in Ohio cuz i couldnt find a "real" job. Luckilly they needed a marketing person so here I am. Just trying to learn as much about wine as I can!

"Sounds lushy, but just drink lots of wine, all the time. Lots of tastings. I've found that wine is very very personal, and although I wont' go above $40 per bottle I think there are great loving wines under $20. Consistent wineries are also hard to find that consistently produce favorite wines so have to wade through a few vintages. "

Haha yes, many are surprised that Ohio actually grows grapes. The winery that I work at in particular grow only vinifera varieties. We have Chard, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Semillon, Cab Franc, Cab...
