I don't buy wine online anymore, Massachusetts has horrible wine shipping laws. When I did try buying online the retailer said they could get around the law by acting as my agent in the...

What city is the store located? Sounds like a great tasting. I am a big fan of Spanish wines. I especially like the Tempranillo and Grenache grapes. I believe that some of the wines I have...

I just bought a good Reisling at BJ's Wholesale Club for $ 7.99, almost embarassing. Do you have BJ's in Southern Cal? If you do I'll find the bottle and post it. The wine had a...

A hidden jem. I thank my wine retailer for finding and selling this wine. From Provence. The finish to this wine is quite good, maybe the best I've tasted.

"I agree completely. I drink reds primarily no matter what they are paired with. I have read that you should pair fish and chicken with a white wine. I usually ignore this. With that said a Sauvignon Blanc is best paired with white meats, fish, shellfish, chicken or pork. Ideal when you are preparing these foods and are looking for a refreshing beverage.

My favorite meal to cook with a Sauvignon Blanc is chicken picata. Use the wine in the recipe and drink several glasses along the way. :)"

"For some reason, I can't get into white wines, or anything chilled for that matter. I tried a Zin, an Orange Mascot, and another one last night that I just can't recall, and all were a little too sweet for my taste. Perhaps it makes me feel as if I'm drinking juice? But I'm always willing to try, I'll pick up a bottle of that the next time. I love to cook, so anything you would recommend pairing the Sauvignon with?"

This was a poor wine. Very acidic with harsh tannins and a long unpleasant after taste. I am tossing the rest of this bottle. I decanted this bottle for several hours and still have the same...

"If you want to venture out to a white wine (I don't very often but...) try a Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Very inexpensive but a 90 point wine."

"Try some Malbec. The price is right. I have also been trying some Spanish wines, Garnacha and Tempranillo. Although these can get pricy there are alot of bargains out there in Spanish wines. Try the Las Rocas label. Very good and inexpensive."
