More modern than old world. Rich black fruit, nice acidity, medium to big. Great with red pasta dishes and tuscan style beef (rosemary & garlic)...Had it at Pepolino NYC.
Perfumed nose & nice acidity. Tannins are melow, very approachable. Violet overtones. Solid Dolcetto for this price point. Will drink again.
This is supposed to be great rioja. I found it too acid/sour. Definitely would not pay 50 for this again.
The anise finish is quite nice. Different than what you are used to drinking. Medium body and aromatic. WIll drink again.
