this was a great find; the nose changes from fresh white fruits like apples and pears not very different than what a nice Riesling might smell like and changes into a slightly flinty-chalky-ocean...

a really lovely red everyday wine. lots of dark, rustic cherry fruit, balanced medium body, and soft tannins.
a lovely smoky, chalky, dried apricot and peaches on the nose wine; great crisp acidity paired with rambunctious juiciness.
i'd have to say my favorite wine would have to be Gewurztraminer, probably from Alsace or Germany, and late harvests are beautiful!
i love tasting blends of any kind and hybrids. i think they can be fun and interesting and broaden the taste buds. :)

A really nice, refreshingly light white. The nose is full of cucumber and melon and a soft on the palate.

if you like Zinfandel Port, the evenus is pretty damn nice for 10 bucks.
