"I would definitely recommend Ruinart. You have to book in advance, it is about 26 euros, but the tour is excellent- you get to go 3 stories deep into their chalk caves and you can taste through any one of their collection (even Dom Ruinart 1996 Rose - $400/bottle). Additional samples (full-size glasses) are only 4 euros. I didnt take Tattinger's tour but I visited their chateau, and it was far more touristy-marketing-oriented and I believe you do not get to taste their premium cuvees. Still love Tattinger wines though!"

"Hi Lara,

I just read your post on snooth about visiting the champagne houses. Presently we have tours at pommery, veuve, and moet. We are thinking of enjoying another tour but not sure which one to see, Ruinart or Taittinger.

What would your recomendation be?"
