"yes i live in California. I used to live very close to wine country in Northern California, now I live by Southern California wine country. Any ones you find that you are curious about, send me the names and I'll let you know if I know them.

I'm guessing most exports will be our BIG vineyards...Sutter...Beringer...Kendall-Jackson. But I'd be curious to see which of our wines makes it to Malaysia! Cheers! :) Hilary "

"Hiya! Where are you from? Not sure of the availability of California wines where you are, as I usually drink local wines from very small vineyards, who don't do enough production to export much. Some larger ones that might give you an idea of our wines--- Clos du Bois makes a mellow, nice Merlot and a Pinot Noir, which is pretty nice. Acacia also makes a nice Pinot Noir. All of those would be under $20 USD a bottle.

There is a really popular blend called Menage a Trois, by the Folie a Deux vineyard, and it's a fruity, fairly bold blend with some oak and tannins, it's not a timid wine (most CA wines aren't) and it's nice and here is dirt cheap, about $9 USD. It's sort of my go to wine, just really good for the price.
