"I am not in japan, but have many friends from Japan and Asia, whom I have met on cruises on Royal Caribberan, Celebrity, and Norwegian Cruise Lines. In my liquor store, we have received a few sample bottles of Saki, and Plum Wine, that almost no one pays attention to. They have become like window dressing under the tasting table. I wonder how long their shelf life is?

Eventually, I will have to try them, but I will need somebody, like you to compare my reactions and tastings.

It's been 4 years. It looks like this time I am in it for the long haul - unless anything dramatic happens, I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. Are you based in Japan as well?
