2006 - very nice. Blackberry, cassis, and plum noise. First taste was tanic and tart, but it mellowed and become quite enjoyable. Better that most Cabernets. I only paid $15.00 at Wine...
Sobon is a big favorite of Total Wine Stores. I tried 4 the Zins (they bottle way too many zins to be reliable), and would never buy it again. All were "poor", even for the low price.
Very cherry fruit forward - too forward. I liked it, but wouldn't buy it again. I like their Menage a Trios better - it is multi-layered and more complex and half the price.
Smooth, soft, and well blended. Perhaps too well is blended? The Zinfandel is intense with a strong plum/prune flavor, but the complexity and multi-layering of flavores was missing. Good, but...
