A fairly robust red, with some sourness and a bit of iron. This would probably be all right with a hearty meal, but is not too impressive on its own. The bottle I had was from 2006.
Modestly sour, with some sweetness, and a bit of smoke and vegetal flavors, plus a dash of iron. Medium bodied and fairly mild. Enjoyable and well worth the $9 I spent for a liter.

I have had Gruner Veltliners that I loved, but this was not one of them. A fairly simple, light, and sour wine with a bit of lime and cider in the flavor. This appears to be the Austrian version...
Nice aroma. Mellow, with sweet and sour notes and a little oak. Fairly robust.
Hi, Jimmy. I was just in the Shenandoah Valley, and I checked out a couple of the vineyards there - Glen Manor and Rappahannock. Glen Manor was beautiful and had some very nice wines too.
