Had the 2006 at Absinthe. Nice, not as heavy as I was expecting. Nice structure and some good acidity even, but not terribly fruit forward, or leathery.
Had the 2008 at Absinthe. Very balanced. Nice acidity, citrus notes, grass, and minerality, but none of these were overpowering. Very good.

"I was surprised by the flavors. I had tasted it at the winery about a year and a half ago and my recollection was of lighter fruit. I've had this bottle since then and I'm wondering if the heavier flavors were from the age. Anyway, thanks for the note. "
