Tasted this wine last night and found it to be impressive in structure, spice and balance, despite the 14.5 alcohol, The palate is rich, ripe and full-bodied. Leather, tobacco, ripe dark plums...
Always consistent, ripe and earthy. The 2006 offers lots of red fruit, medium tannins and smooth finish. Well balanced, this wine is a classic.
The finest white I have ever tasted in the last 12 months! Elegant, ripe, medium body and superb acidity. The flavours are rich, yet the texture is fine and the finish goes on and on.
