"Hey RachelAnna!

Try a California Sangiovese - It's the California version of the grape used to make Italian Chianti - Really cool!

"Thanks, Michael, I'll give them a try. Yes, I would be very interested. Do you generally order these wines online or do you get them locally?

Chianti, huh? I can never think of that without the fava bean, Hannibal Lecter reference ;)"

"I've tried 2 pretty good CA Sangiovese - '05 Bonny Doon Ca Del Sol & '04 Jacuzzi.
I've ordered 2 more CA Sangiovese, when I try them I'll tell you about them. I Iike them because they're made from a classic Italian grape, but retain their California characteristics.
And by the way, although Barolo is the king of Italian wines, please try some Chianti. In recent years, this wine has really risen in quality and prestige.

"No, I haven't. Any recommendations? I did have a nice Tempranillo, Torres Coronas but I would like to try more Italian reds or CA versions thereof."
