Reasonably well balanced. 2007 must have been a tough, cold year as this wine was a little more astringent and acidic than in previous years. It lacked the fruit to really pull it off. Nice enough...
Light on the nose but a lovely cherry lightness right through the palate with nice mocha and tannins supporting the sweetness. Would be good if laid down for a few more years
Nice white flower, lime and honey on the nose and palate. A good long finish with the acid still holding the structure together.
big fruit upfront with nice menthol on the nose and palate. fine tannins with still a bit to drop out. Still worth leaving in the bottle for a few years
Powerful nose with cedar, tobacco and menthol. full palate of baked plum/prune with spiciness running right through it. Beautiful long finish
