You are welcome. Also check out the less likely candidate from Gamay grape -- quite peppery beaujolais (Cru level) from Moulin-à-Vent appellation in Beaujolais (just above Northern Rhone)....

"Thanks for the advise, uptownwineguy!
Personally I prefer a very small amount of tobacco / black-tea leaf component in my Bordeaux and Southern Rhones. I find the garrigue typically a bit too strong. CdP seems just about right, but usually too strong in terms of flavors. As my palate has evolved over the years, I found myself drawn to subtler flavors, while I see majority of wine drinkers out there still preferring stronger ones (otherwise they seem to think that they are not drinking a real wine)!

"Gary: If you are interested in that garrigue flavor and nose you might try the Domaine Faurmarie that I mentioned in an earlier post. Also if you can find a Chateau du Prieure des Mourgues Saint-Chinian it would give you a different but no less interesting taste. One more would be a Chateau des Peyregrandes Faugeres. These are all from the Languedoc and have the spicy garrigue flavor in different ways."

"The most visible place for your blog is at the top of your profile - just go to your Account Settings and fill in the website field. You might also want to post a brief intro about yourself or your blog in your Profile Introduction, which is also in your Account Settings. Then the next step is getting people to your profile - I'd suggest becoming active in the forums, reviewing some wines, making some friends - all the usual social networking stuff. We also have a blog widget you can use to display your latest reviews on your blog, as well as a blogger affiliate program to share in any revenue from sales you generate through Snooth from your blog. Ok, I'm finished with my pitch. Enjoy the site!
