Tastes of leather, rich berries and cream all aged in oak. A nice malbec with hints of spices typical of a shiraz. Very drinkable by itself.

A really great "old school' cab. Tannic and silky, with lots of oak and black cherries and subtle currants.

"Agreed. Not were we unimpressed with the 2005 WS, we were upset at this most recent price hike, b/c they were pricing it like it was their late 90’s vintages, which were awesome. "

"I agree. It had a nice nose but we thought the acidity was too strong and it was overall lacking in dimension. It is amazing how different the various WS vineyards can be. So far not impressed with 2005 and am holding off on 2006 because of this. They have been tasting too young."
