"Doug,

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you are interested in reading about wine, I would suggest the articles section. To find the best wines and comparison shop for the best prices, you can type in any region/variety/winery into the search box and Snooth will show you what's well rated.

Finally the forum is where the community hangs out to chat about wine. It's a great place to share knowledge and learn.

"Hi Doug,

Funny you should mention it, but we're just about to start collecting the information about alcohol levels (and a whole host of other auxiliary content) from our partner wineries. We're building the tools to collect the information at a large scale, and I am optimistic you'll begin to see data like this on the site within a few months.

I hope that helps. Cheers!

"Have you considered something about alcohol levels in wine? For example, one of my favorite vineyards is/was Anderson's Conn Valley but when I read tha their alcohol levels are now past 15% I no longer purchase them. I prefer old world without crazy alc levels and would like to see more info posted in this area.

Thank you,
Doug"

"Doug,

I haven't had it myself but I started a discussion about the wine in Snooth Talk to see if anyone in the community knows about it. You can find the Talk post here:

http://www.snooth.com/talk/topic/domaine-vincent-girardin-santenay-villages-charmes-2005/

There are other ratings on the site for Vincent Girardin's wines:

http://www.snooth.com/search/ratings+vincent+girardin+santenay/1/0/0/125/

Looks like it's worth a taste!

Hope that helps,
Mark"
