"How have you been? I haven't been as active on Snooth as I used to... the tougher economy has resulted in a lot of business travel to win and deliver work (I'm in Consulting) and as a result, I'm opening fewer bottles in my cellar.

I just added this wine... the 2007 vintage. Brought to me direct from Sydney by some good friends. I haven't opened it yet, so cannot rate or review it, but thought you should have the 2007 Vintage on the site.

Warmest Regards.... hope business is doing well. I recommend Snooth to many of my friends and colleagues. Its the a great site for the type of wine drinking and food pairing I like to do.

"Let's not do the feature until you guys have a preferences setting to NOT get friend requests.

Also, on the pairings, I've found your method for doing the pairings (using keywords) not really specific enough. For example, a particular Viogner may go very well with white flaky fish with butter sauce, whereas another may go with salmon. So "fish" isn't really the best way to do pairings. "

"Hi David - I understand your concerns about getting a flood of emails after having your profile featured. In all honesty, you most likely will get a good deal of friend requests (which each generate an email) after being featured, so I'd recommend changing the email address in your Snooth account to an alternate address for the time being. You can ignore all the emails, then review all your friend requests all at once on your Snooth Friends page. I would also completely understand if you don't want to be featured at all. Just let me know.

There's nothing wrong with giving credit to the store that recommends new and exciting wines to you! In fact, we have a special section on Snooth that lets you do just that. You can rate and comment on a wine store, and even "follow" them to get updates in the future. The Cheers Wine and Spirits page is here - it would be a great place for you to rate and review them favorably and help others find their store in the future:

I'm impressed with your system for organizing your cellar! If you're interested, there's already a way to use Snooth for this purpose which you might find handy. If you go to your "My Wines" page, you can not only see all the wines you've reviewed, but you can also search within your reviews for food pairings! For example, here are all the wines in your cellar that you rated higher than 3.5 that go well with fish. (Well, there's only 1 result, but you get the idea.) The sorting possibilities are endless - and you might just save a few trees along the way :-)
