Cheese and Grapes

I discovered the joys of wine a couple of years ago. I don't know how I ever enjoyed life before it. I appreciate a smooth bottle of syrah, and a slice of my favorite chèvre and the company of my husband James to share it with:o)

Very dark purple, and surprisingly fruity. A little bitter, but not bad. I enjoyed it.

We are enjoying another great one for 12.99. Muirwood Syrah 2007. It's great with Manchego cheese.

When you are walking down the isle looking at all those wines, look for Chile Carmenere and California Zinfandel. Those meet your descriptions. BTW, I'm a nurse too!

"Any time you're over you can log on and "snooth it" right then so it's fresh in your memory of what you're tasting and you'll have the bottle in front of you. That's what I do. I snooth it as I'm drinking it if I'm at home. If I'm somewhere else, I just jot down the bottle info and "snooth it" when I get home:) I think you drank the Rosenblum syrah at my house the last time. Look in my wine list to find it and you can click on it and write a review. "
