I can almost give it a three. Its nothing special, but I am getting into box wines now because we can't recycle glass, and the amount of wine I drink keeps me going to the dump to regularly....
Shirazs for me anyway are always soo incredibly variable, and hit or miss. This one is good, well balanced, nice finish, but nothing special. Nice oakiness with the spine of a shiraz for drinking...
This is very near what I really like out of a Zin. Lots of fruit, not overly sweet, and kick, kick you butttom. Really digging Amador Co wine, can't wait to do a tasting tour there.
This is really for the 2006 vintage. Nice well rounded supple French wine, for a good price, I think I had to pay around $10
