AvanteBryan reviewed Stephen Vincent Cabernet Sauvignon 2006. (4/5)
On Jul 31, 2008

A fantastic, fruity California Cabernet. Almost harkens to the lush cabs of the past. The only sign of it's ridiculously cheap price point is a less than stellar finish down the throat....

AvanteBryan reviewed Carol Shelton Wines Monga Zin Zinfandel 2004. (3.5/5)
On Jul 30, 2008

Wonderful, fruity zin but not overly so. Tannins and oak help to give this one a good balance to the initial burst of ripe cherry & blackberry.

AvanteBryan reviewed Château du Cèdre Cahors Le Prestige 2004. (4/5)
On Jul 30, 2008

In need of a decanter or simply a few hours with the cork popped, this wine gets better with every sip. Dark, lush colors lead to big bold fruit and tannins that overwhelm at first, but are...

Château du Cèdre Cahors Le Prestige 2004

Starting at $18.65 Snoothrank: 3.5/5
AvanteBryan reviewed Lot 205 Petite Sirah 2005. (3/5)
On Jul 30, 2008

For the price, an excellent Petite Sirah! This could benefit from a little bit more body, but considering that most Petite Sirahs at this price point (if you can find any) are usually very...

Lot 205 Petite Sirah 2005

Starting at $11.99 Snoothrank: 3/5
On Jul 30, 2008

Very full at the front, with great bold and heavy flavors on the palate, but fails to deliver a sufficient finish and completeness that a Syrah at this price point should exhibit. Possible I...

Lost Canyon Winery Syrah Alegria Vineyard 2004

Starting at $35.00 Snoothrank: 3/5
