Added Nov 23, 2009 at 10:14pmThink I got some unusual mirabelle (sweet yellow plum) character in nose & mouth as it wamrs up...subtle flower/herb notes unfortunately fade into indefinition rather than evolve. Still my current alternative to Bruno Giacosa Roero Arneis for a food-friendly ( I cook an herby-spicy Caribbean veggie scramble variation) balanced, perfumed white.

I feel horribly guilty, because I drank up a bottle meant for sharing with My friend, restaurateur Christophe Gourdain, all by myself. Perfectly balanced & complex, the blackcurrant is enlivened by subtle mentholated typicity. I'll have to find a few bottles to share & to put away.
