    winescribbler's Review:

it 'could' be described as frivolous. It is certainly fun; anything with bubbles can be described so but this, with a great depth of yeasty, developed, peachy, citrus flavours could also be seen as something a little more serious. http://www.spittoon.biz/la_chamiza_extra_brut_nv_mendo.html

    winescribbler's Review:

Deep in colour - almost a light red - and a light cherry aroma. Dry, clean, soft with a long spicey finish. A gentle bitter edge to the berry fruit flavours gives interest and 'lift'. Alcohol 13.5%.Not an 'in your face wine' - no sweetness, subtle aroma, juicy flavours - but serve with a plate of garlic prawns or a barbecued sausage and this sings!http://www.spittoon.biz/tagus_creek_shiraz_touriga_nac.html

    winescribbler's Review:

A spritz to the creamy, full-ish, palate. While weighty there is also a delicacy to the fruit and texture. A touch of lime, a smear of pear, a little apple and, on the finish, a subtle nuttiness and a creamy texture. Just a hint of sweetness I think. In style a cross between Alsace and German; picking the best bits from each! Must be the first wine from Luxembourg I have tried. Very enjoyable it was toohttp://www.spittoon.biz/clos_des_rochers_pinot_blanc_2.html

    winescribbler's Review:

Generously flavoured - all guava and pears with a nice dash of apple and crisp, stone fruits. A small part has seen some oak for 'a subtle dab of extra richness'. Full, firm but balanced with good acidity.http://www.spittoon.biz/midweek_combinations_ms_austra.html

    winescribbler's Review:

Fresh, crisp and lively. Lemony, a touch of herb and a mineral edge give this a distinctive flavour. Dry. Alcohol 13%. Medium to full-bodied.

    winescribbler's Review:

Excellent depth, good concentration and depth and a complexity of flavour that is quite captivating.

    winescribbler's Review:

A blend of 65% Cabernet Franc and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. Superb structure and deliciously drinkable

    winescribbler's Review:

A fresh, juicy Pinotage. I love the idea of matching this, as they suggest, with Calves Liver with Bacon and Mustard Mash Potatoes. A touch of upfront sweetness initially that folds into a smoky, deep fruit whole

    winescribbler's Review:

A Chardonnay with a small proportion fermented and aged in oak, giving a smooth, creamy palate. Pear and spice flavours abound.

    winescribbler's Review:

A delicious unoaked Chardonnay enlivened with a touch of Viognier (2%).
