Catalan Eagle takes clean-cut produced Garnacha Blanca and adds a dash of Viognier and Roussanne to give a French twist. Its gorgeously aromatic, light, fresh and textural. http://www.spittoon.biz/three_obscure_spanish_wines.html

Enticing with a little coffee bean edge on the nose, it's a deep, quite powerful wine, full, intense black-fruit medley on the finish. High alcohol. While richly fruity upfront the lingering finish is dry with a lovely mineral textural quality. http://www.spittoon.biz/three_obscure_spanish_wines.html

Very pale in colour, crisp and limey on the nose with a fresh and crisp palate. Light, appley and grassy with a nice bitter lettuce twist on the finish. Fresh and lively, enhanced by a little spritz. Length is a little short... http://www.spittoon.biz/seven_springs_sauvignon_blanc.html

a full, rounded little number. A richness initially with citrus/lemon flavours, tempered by a nice slew of acidity and a herb-dominated finish. A little barrel-fermentation adds an interesting complexity. Not the most complex or textural wine but an absolute blast with a roast chicken
