Monarchia Olivier 2002
Added Oct 7, 2008 at 5:24pmI'm actually rating the 2007, but it's not listed here. This is a unique wine from Hungary, one that leaves you wanted to know more about Irsai Olivier. The aroma is similar to Muscat, but with flavors closer to a Gruner. Something different and refreshing for a warm summer day, but also goes well with light fish or asian foods.

Added Mar 2, 2008 at 11:55amI have to say, I was not thrilled with the 2005 Oriel Pinot after having loved the 2004. Too much oak, flat finish, not much character. Oriel is a great label, but if you want to try their pinot search for the 2004.

Added Mar 2, 2008 at 11:50amThis is my all time favorite Pinot from Russian River. Deliciously smooth, berry flavors and just a hint of oak. A must try!
