    Of all of the Colorado wines I have tasted, this one is in a class by itslef. As a lover of Alsatian and German style Gewurztaminers, I have found few from the US that would meet those expectations. I first learned of this wine from the double gold medals it won. Along with their riesling that took the double gold at the international riesling competitions a couple of years ago, this was a must try. The secret seems to be in the balance of natural acidity and sweetness. We had this at Thanksgiving in 2008 and it was an absolute hit with all of us at the dinner. I highly recommend this wine to anyone who loves Gewurztraminer like we do.
