Added Jan 28, 2008 at 12:22pmOne of the best sub-twenty dollar Napa cabs on the market. Incredibly complex, especially in relation to the price.

Amon-Ra Shiraz 2006
Compare and BuyAverage Price: $85.00
Added Jan 28, 2008 at 2:00pmBarossa Valley perfection, but very young. If you have the patience and the cellar, pick up this tremendous offering from Ben Glaetzer and hold on to it up to up to 30 years.

Added Jan 28, 2008 at 1:57pmA huge Barossa Valley Shiraz from one of the most acclaimed winemakers in the region, Ben Glaetzer, this wine is drinking well with copious amounts of bark fruit, most noticeably plum, and a mild spiciness with silky tannins. The tannins suggest that, while it's drinking well now, it will continue to evolve over the next 3-5 years and show nicely for at least the next 15.

Added Jan 28, 2008 at 1:27pmHad this wine over the Christmas Holiday 2007, and it was still going strong; however, if I had to put my money on it, I'd say that it is nearing the end of the line as far as it's top showing and will soon make the downward turn. Drink it over the next 12-18 months.

Flowers Perennial 2006
Added Jan 28, 2008 at 1:15pmA truly interesting blend which includes the traditional champagne grapes makes for a pleasantly approachable wine that is drinking very well right now. It's a smooth wine that's light to medium bodied with heavy floral notes. A great option for Valentine's day!

Added Jan 28, 2008 at 1:03pmClearly not Opus' best vintage, but the name alone will mean high prices. I'd hold out for the '05.

Added Jan 28, 2008 at 1:01pmSimply spectacular, although not to be consumed in the near future. This wine should be forgotten about for at least five years and then consumed over the next thirty or so.
