Classic earthy syrah, opposite of many of the high octane, heavy fruit overloads. This Syrah explodes with dusty tannin and subdued fruit. Excellent oak profile that is complimentary instead of domineering. Another delicious, easy drinking red that is sure to be a crowd pleaser when paired with the right cuisine. AVV is a great producer of consistently good quality relatively inexpensive wines.

This wine oozed of smoky rubber bands and offered little else. The body was light even for pinot, perhaps watery. Minimal fruit and tannic structure. whomever posted this wines price at 59.99 is confused because it reatails for $130 usd. I was unable to stomach more than a glass of this wine, beware.

This is a lovely wine, big and bold but not too heavy handed. Syrah zin and Petite really blended together well. Firm but not too rough tannin followed by a proper amount of earth and dark fruits

I absolutely love this wine! It may have lost some of the fruit it once had but this is pretty close to the pinnacle of California Petite Sirah. These wines are so tannic that they definitely need at least 5 or 6 years after bottling. This is one of those wines that makes you want to bite into your glass

This is a great example of Cali Cab Franc. An excellent balance of red and dark fruits with those soft and dusty tannin that I just love from a Cab Franc. Love the lower alcohol style, great with tons of cheeses and many other foods. This shows the versatility of the winemakers talents for sure!
