Excellent white Rhone blend from Paso Robles. This is carried by the bigger white grapes of Roussanne and Marsanne which contribute a darker stonier fruit flavor and the aromatics of the viognier which add a nice floral touch.

Fantastic Dry Creek Sauv Blanc. A lot of grapefruit on the nose but more lemon than grapefruit on the tongue. Bright, crisp and extremely well balanced. One of the better Sauv Blancs we've had.

Very pleasant North Carolina Seyval Blanc. Reminds me of a mini Reisling, some floral notes, a touch of sweetness, slight apricot, not much acidity but a decently balanced white wine. This paired very well with crab cakes and snow peas.

Decent South African Sauv Blanc. Loads of white grapefuit, lemon peel, citrus and some minerality. Somewhat one dimensional but a nice change of pace from the more typical SB and a good QPR.

First impression of this Napa Cab was alcohol and heat which did not blow off over the course of the evening. Fairly dry, firm tannins with loads of dark fruit but all of that took a back seat to the heat.

Adelaida Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve, an Excellent Paso Cab. Just the right amount of dark berry, tobacco, medium tannin and alcohol. The combination was very well balanced and extremely enjoyable.

Not much going on with this Spanish Tempranillo. Very light weight, a bit on the flabby side and the flavors disappear quite quickly.

Decent Argentina rose, fairly light in body and flavor with slight touches of strawberry, pomegranate and cherry. Decent acidity but a rather short finish.
