Added Dec 2, 2013 at 6:57pmIn a blind tasting I would have thought that this was a sauvignon blanc. Citrus, lemon, grapefruit and acidity dominate the front end, giving way to a medium finish of tangerine peel. Different but nice.

Added Nov 30, 2013 at 9:28amPretty nice French white blend of viognier and sauvignon blanc. The viognier comes through here with some floral notes and dried apricot. There's just a bit of zing from the sauvignon's acidity that plays well with the viognier. Very good QPR.

Added Nov 29, 2013 at 5:37pmExcellent viognier from Tablas Creek. Still have yet to find anything from Tablas that isn't fantastic. Nice floral nose, creamy ripe peaches and apricots, a touch of butterscotch, a little honey and a bit of nice acidity on the back end.

Added Nov 29, 2013 at 8:18amBig and oaky Dry Creek chardonnay. Lots of oak and a touch of smoke buried the fruit. The web site says this was aged in neutral french barrels but it's a bit over the top for my palate.

Added Nov 29, 2013 at 8:07amReally nice Austrian Riesling. Deep gold color, dry but with nice round honey and citrus flavors. Developed nicely in the glass and got better as it got a little warmer.

Added Nov 27, 2013 at 6:33pmVery nice, fresh, young and fruit forward Napa cab from Chateau Montelena. Not overly jammy with red and black fruit notes. Medium tannins are well balanced with moderate alcohol (13.8%), nice acidity and a medium length finish.
