Added May 12 at 7:55pmFantastic Paso Robles Syrah! Great balance and nice acidity with a lot of dark berry, chocolate, tobacco notes. Great mouth feel, medium tannins and a great finish. Not overly jammy but spicy with a lot of body. Love this syrah!

Added May 11 at 9:18pmAwesome Napa blend from Newton. First tried this at a tasting at Newton and thought this was the best of the lot. This blend varies every year depending on the quality of the individual grapes to be blended. This '08 is a well integrated blend of mainly merlot and cab sauv. Loads of dark fruit, medium tannins, nice acidity, lots of layers and a great finish.

Added May 10 at 8:24pmFantastic sauvignon blanc from northern Russian River. More Sancerre than New Zealand or Australian. Not so much grapefruit but more lemon peel, green apple, subtle honey and great balance. I'm going to get more of this!
