This is a wine that I got into after having it a favorite italian restaurant of mine. It's definitely something to have with food with really strong flavors and skews more towards the salty or oily side. I really enjoy having it with a cheese plate during the holidays. Overall it should be drunk in moderation as after awhile it gets pretty one note, but drink it every once in awhile and its fantastic!

This wine was given to me as a gift for christmas (that I got to pick). The notes in the store said that blackberry and cassis were used in the creation of this wine, and since I really enjoy those I thought that was the bottle for me. When I first opened it the berries were really overpowering, but after a few minutes of opening up it was absolutely fantastic. I'd have to say it was one of the better wines that I have ever had due to its even and smooth taste. If I ever had the chance again I would definitely buy it store and try to resist drinking it!

This wine is one of the best cheap ones I ever bought. I accidently bought it because it was in the beaujolais section for '08. I am glad that I did because it was suprisingly awesome. It was light yet complex, and a great accompaniment to food. I suggest letting it open a bit, because it's fantastic. I wish I could leave more of a review, but I'm just getting into the finer points of wine. Don't let the duck/chicken picture turn you off, I assure you it's better than some bottles I've spent $20 and up on.

This wine is fantastic. It's really vibrant and goes fantastic with a meal. For the price, it's amazing. There is no feeling of a headache after drinking this wine like some other cheap wines. It's a no frills bottle that we will be using a lot more now in our household. I'm normally leery about buying wines this cheap, but I'm glad I did! (I got this recommendation from a wine tasting class.)

This wine is amazing. We stumbled into this winery through a recommendation of one of the local wine owners. We have bought it almost every year since for holiday parties and gifts. It tastes more expensive than it actually is priced! It is sweet, but not overly so. My husband who hates rieslings willingly drinks this and loves it too! It really goes with pretty much anything and is really a welcome addition to any event. I honestly think this is one of the best chenin blancs out there, and most definitely in its price class.
