    treg906's Review:

Light and airy on the tongue, with a strong enough finish to be satisfying. Pear and honeydew on the nose. Satisfying mouth feel with generous flavors of pear, mineral, melon, and spice, and well-balanced acidity. Simply another quality Oregon Pinot Gris.

This wine is pale gold in color, has intense beautiful aromas of honeysuckle, apricot and peach blossom. The wine has luscious flavors of ripe apricot, peach and spices. There is a richness, yet delicacy that you will only see in the finest Viogniers, beautifully balanced and long on the finish. Simply delicious.

Even though this winery has the wrong OSU alumni connection, Oregon instead of The Ohio State University, they create some great wines. This Willamette Valley winemaker creates this gem from a variety of vineyards throughout Oregon. The wine has a moderate acidy with peach and pear flavors and a creamy vanilla texture that makes this a satisfying food friendly wine. I have a friend that seems to like wine and bottle marketing somewhat equally. She loved both when this was gifted to her recently. Cool bottle designs that change with the vintages.

Really nice! Picked this one based on its ratings for a special weekend and was not disappointed. Another A+ for the ABC...Anything But Chardonnay fans. This one is from Mendocino County and has a nice full mouthfeel from its partial aging in French oak barrels. Flavors are very clean with peach and a touch of lime with vanilla flavors on a long satisfying finish. Seek this one out and buy a few, one for now and one for your own special occasion.

Really nice Pinot Grigio from the Dolomiti Mountain area in Northeastern Italy. This pale yellow wine has a nose of honeyed citrus with a tinge of spice. Fruity mouth feel of orange zest, peach and nectarine with crisp, clean, citrus acid intervention with a lengthy finish. There's a lot going on here and if I can just get a consistent supply just might become my house white.

    treg906's Review:

Delicious......slight greenish-brassy hue with a distinct red-grapefruit scent speaks of the Sauvignon Blanc component in this Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend. Full and rich on the palate, grapefruit and lime; bone-dry , crisply acidic and an excellent balance that lingers into a long, clean finish. This is a white that is good now and will just get more complex over the next few years. Cool label that changes with every vintage.

Have not met an Albarino that I didn't like. This one is special as I had this first in a restaurant with my best friend and ever since I have been emotional tied. This one is my favorite of all of the Albarinos that I have tasted exhibiting a Viognier like nose of dried apricots and peaches with a medium weight, and pure, clean flavors. Great with seafood particularly ones that carry a shell.

This is a blend of Insolia and Viognier (Insolia 50%/Viognier 50%) with great structure and satisfying mouth feel. The color is of deep straw yellow with mild floral notes and tropical fruit of pineapple and mango. Nice wine for the unoaked wine fans.
