This wine had a few deep purple tartrate crystals on the cork. It is a fairly clear ruby with a floral nose and long, fat, fast legs. Tastes of light oak and tart cherries. A fairly good wine.

Don't let the funky label and screwcap fool you: this is serious wine. A deep, almost inky red color. The nose is floral and grape and quite pronounced. Great flavors of tannin currant/cassis, dark cherry, and tart apple. Really good tannins balanced with acid. An excellent complement to a bison burger with sauteed asparagus and Belgian-style fries.

A lighter red wine. Herbs and lighter fruits both on the nose and on the tongue. I really like the tannin/acid interplay. I wouldn't drink it over five years old. Don't care much for the wax seal.
