An excellent example of a coarse-filtered sake (nigorizake). This type of sake is characterized not only by its texture and sweetness, but also by its melon-like flavours, and this is where Sayuri excels, allowing just enough of the melon flavour through, without being overpowering (yes, I've discarded some other brands' nigori sake for exactly this reason).

tardigrade's Review:

Crystal clear, slightly dry & bitter. Best served chilled, as warming accentuates the bitterness. The shapely bottle makes for an added bonus.
