Pours a light crimson color with light pink hues on the edges. Simple nose with some light red cherries and raspberries. Starts off with a mild amount of fruit and lasts throughout. Not overly complex. This wine seems to have a lot of acidity but not much else. Not a wine to drink alone as it needs food to take away from the acidity. We served this with some pasta and red gravy. This is an affordable easy drinker.

Decanted for 1hour and 15 minutes. Pours a deep dark inky violet color. Big nose of dark berries, mocha, vanilla, chocolate and cedar. Starts off with ample amounts of dark cherry and raspberry flavors. In the middle the rich luscious berries are mixed with smooth chocolate, vanilla and mocha flavors. On the back end, there is some nice cedar flavors. This is a full bodied cabernet. Not overly tannic, but this one will age for several more years. NIcely structured. Leaves a moderately long lasting taste on the palate.

Received this from a friend as they were not a fan. I gladly accepted. Pours a darker brownish straw color, showing some age. Aromas of flint, green herbs, wet stones and citrus. Starts with a nice amount of wet stones, citrus and flint. In the middle, more of the same, but there is some green herbs like sage or thyme. Finishes with more flint and citrus. This is a few years old but still has some of its acidity. Still very crisp and refreshing.

Pours a clear pale straw color, very bright and clean. Aromas of flint, citrus and minerals. Starts off with a nice mixture of citrus and flint. The flint becomes more predominant in the middle but there is still nice amounts of citrus. Finishes with some nice minerality and some lemon zest. This medium bodied wine is nice and dry, with lively acidity. Very clean crisp and refreshing.

Pours a light yet clear straw color. Aromas of light citrus, sage, quartz and other minerals. Starts off with a nice amount of citrus, mostly oranges, lemons and even some lime. In the middle, the citrus is still there but there is an undertone of wet stones and some quartz. Finishes with nice lemon zest kick. A nicely acidic medium bodied wine. Served this with some lemon shrimp and pasta. Paired really nice.

Pours a bright clear light straw color. Scents of peaches, minerals, wet stone and lemon zest. Starts off with ample amounts of peaches and lemon zest. In the middle, some iron type minerality along with some wet stone. Finishes with more minerality coming through to balance out the intensified citrus. A nice medium bodied Sauvignon Blanc. Plenty of acidty. This is a great drinker on a hot day, which is when I had this. Pascal Jolivet, for me, provides a great everyday wine at an affordable price.

Pours a really nice orangish amber color. The nose has plenty of burnt caramel, dried peaches and nectarines and honey. Starts off with a lot of dried fruits like nectarines and peaches. In the middle, lots of sweet honey and sweet sugary caramel mix with the dried fuirt. Finishes just like the middle with a hint of roasted nuts added in as well. A really nice full-bodied Tawny. Lots of sweet goodness but not overdone. If you enjoy Tawny's, the 20 year from Sandeman offers a great value.
