Lean and acidic on the front and develops into a medium-bodied dry spiced palate, and a long hands-off finish with not as much spice as I was expecting.

Sweet funky gaminess on the nose. Smooth in the mouth with maybe too much acidity on the front end. Some grittiness and spice on the finish but not much else. In a word - meh.

Now we're talkin. Grainy plummy nose. Big jammy dark thick fruit in the mouth. A grand wine experience.

A sweet zinny nose. In the mouth it explodes with bright fruit and acid but balances out quickly with a long sweet finish that's not spicy like I was expecting. Altogether it's a very well-done and enjoyable wine.

Bright grainy cherry nose with red fruits and an almost vodka-like mouthfeel. There's a good deal of alcohol here at 14.5%. Spicy but simple finish. Could use a few years to mellow out but very drinkable now.

Huge cherry nose with tons of spice. In the mouth a pleasant cacophony of oak and eucalyptus packed around a tight plucky core of bright red fruit. Oozes class. Love it.

Powerful nose of blueberries and spice. A little dry in the mouth with a big tannic kick that quickly fades into a pleasant chalky finish. Giddy up.

Dirty mineraly nose. Well balanced soft mouthfeel with dark fruits and more dirt on the palate, but in the good way. Gently departing finish. Very peculiar, but enjoyable.

Sweet toasted oak with dirty earth on the nose. Perfectly balanced mellow black cherries with a lean toward plums and a slightly sweet long gentle finish. This is some great stuff.
