    solomania9's Review:

Super oaky toasty bready nose. Bakery mouthfeel with lots of soft bruised fruit but a decent amount of acidity to boot. Grainy creamy finish. A fun chard.

The casual wine drinker in me likes the spicy nose and the full-bodied bright fruit flavors and oak. But the wine snob in me just wants to scream OAK CHIPS AND SUGAR! But I shouldn't expect more at this price anyhow.

Definitely getting paint on the nose. There's some cherry fruit here but those chemical overtones are very distracting for me. Grainy finish - that is, what didn't get poured down the sink.

Smells of must and hard water. A full-bodied pinot with the requisite cherries and cola - finishes with a spicy boom.

  • solomania9's Review:

Sweet syrupy nose - slightly gamey. Rich and full-bodied with lots of acidity. Black cherries and a hint of eucalyptus dominate. Long acidic finish and a fair amount of complexity. Very enjoyable, but the nose promised more than it delivered.

  • solomania9's Review:

Faint sweet honey and flowers on the nose. Gigantic bubbles on the tongue, extremely crisp and dry but with a sweeter edge than most nice Champagnes I've had. The finish leaves a lovely sweetness on the font of the mouth, while the back remains bone dry - and jealous.

  • solomania9's Review:

Solid bright grainy nose. Light in the mouth with an present but understated underlying acidity. Departs slowly and complexly with tea flavors and tarry cherries.

  • solomania9's Review:

A little gamey on the nose. Big soft pinot fruit with lots of complexity and and relaxed finish.

  • solomania9's Review:

Grainy cherries on the nose. At first, extremely lean and quiet in the mouth but after a second or two, flares up with spice and notes of tea and autumn. Slightly bitter on the finish.

  • solomania9's Review:

Excellent balance on the palate with a zesty pear-infused buttery honied tone giving way to a beady milky finish. Practically screams to be paired with food.
