    scottdseaman's Review:

The wine meets your eye with deep, dark ruby hues. The senses are greeted with aromas of cedar, currants, blackberry, and a small amount of tobacco translating to the palate with flavors that are plush and velvet cocoa dancing with blackberries, black currants, crushed in a granite mortar and pastel to give I t just a hint of flintiness. The finish lingers giving rise to an easy addiction that will be resolved by the inability to attain more of this nectar.

This delightful wine is a translucent pale golden hue in color. When the cork is pulled, the aroma will fill the air with delicate floral hints of lavender and gardenia wafting through honeysuckle. Upon the lips the soft nature of the wine first appears with wonderful hints of balance and lightness. On the fore of the tongue, you will experience peaches and stone fruits ripening to the mid-palate with a creamy texture on the crest of the tongue followed by an exhilarating finish with hints of citrus that lightly lingers to tempt but another sip.

    scottdseaman's Review:

A classic Australian Shiraz with deep purple hues of color and aromas of violates, cocoa, and dark berries entwined with slight smokes of oak. Upon the tongue one experiences the classic dark berries predominated by blackberries giving way to light cocoa and creamy smoke. The tannic acid brings forth a virtual waterfall of spices on the mid to rear palate. A wonderful wine to sip by the camp fire, or with a hearty robust stew of beef and lamb!

    scottdseaman's Review:

Dark inky ruby in color with aromas of like smoked spices among a forest of dark fruits. Once on the palate this syrah comes to life with undertones of cocoa, cracked pepper, and the flavors of dark fruits swelling across the tongue. The finish lightly lingers with hints of black currant and light flinty minerals. This wine to be a dream for those who subscribe to the belief that food and wine are intended to be together as star crossed lovers fulfilling their destiny upon one's tongue. This wine will pair wonderfully with a roasted duck and a cranberry-herb glaze and a side of sweet potatoes prepared with red pepper and nutmeg; bringing many of the subtle nuances of this wine to life. This is a really big and bold syrah, lightly fined and unfiltered with the ability to hold well for many years to come.

    scottdseaman's Review:

A fantastic wine! Graceful approach of Grapefruit and blood orange tempered by a cream sensation; finishing up with a hit of wheat and grass.A great summer time wine on the back deck, or over a dish of clam cream sauce with a hit of cocoa and cayenne pepper over linguine noodles.

  • scottdseaman's Review:

Among the best values for a well structured Merlot on the market! Tons of berries and cherries unfurl their voluminous juice upon your tongue as a hint of smoke carries throughout the entire sip evolving into a fine cream at the very finish that cleans up upon swallowing. A must try for those who typically find merlot too flabby and weak for their palate and a must collect for those who love merlots!
