i got this on the recommendation of the guys at cork (a local wine store) since i wanted something different from a riesling and recently had a really good gruener veltliner. and this one was really good. i had it with osso buco and it was a perfect fit. its a great wine with food.

after my first sip i thought it was a bit watery. but then it kept growing on me. to the point where i just got another case. i don't see myself drinking this in fall or winter but for sitting on the deck in summer this is the perfect wine. goes with anything from the grill or just by itself with a nice book and a nice breeze.

took me a while to get over the region but once i opened the bottle and had my first sip i was pleasantly surprised. it was dry, crisp just right for a nice early spring evening. while not sweet, there is a bit of pineapple and green apple in there. overall a good buy, i will get a couple of more of this one.

i really liked this one ... i admit i was won over by the cork, which isn't really a cork, but a reusable glass cork, very cool. the wine itself was good too. actually quite good, not too sweet, right dryness. i wish i would have bought more bottles.

I have to admit that this was the first Malbec I have had. The guy in the local wine store recommended it and (I also admit, I liked the bottle design) but I have to say once i drank it I was extremely positively surprised. Very thick, meaty, fruity. I like it with dinner (some good red meat) but also just a glass by itself in the evening. for the price I find this a really good value and a tasty one.
