this wine is elegant but not overly tannic, so can be drunk young. it's got some spice and a lot of black berries on the nose when you first open it, then it becomes plummier when left to breathe in the glass over time.

I love this wine. My family has it every year with Thanksgiving--it's perfect for winter-y squashes, turkey with gravy, and all those heavier favorites. Its jammy-ness is a good complement to cranberry foods and sauces. It's also just amazing on its own.
