Added May 30, 2012 at 10:25pmI was pleased when I tasted this 2008 Wine Men of Gotham Shiraz at our local wine store. After aerating it a bit in the glass, I loved how it paired with a nice summer Mediterranean pasta dish that had a vinaigrette sauce. It's flavors held up nicely to the acidity of the dish.

Added Apr 22, 2012 at 7:07pmMy husband and I tried the 2011 "vintage" of this red table wine, and really enjoyed it. We are your basic wine novices, but we've taste loads of reds at our local wine store, and this is really comparable with some very nice reds. It is dry, and the tannins are present but mild. We detected notes of black cherry, berries, & plum. This rating comes with the understanding that it is so good for being so affordable!

Árido Malbec 2006
Added Sep 5, 2010 at 6:45pmMy husband and I found this wine complex, intense, and delightful. Without being wine officianados, we did taste the berry and peppery flavors, even thought we tasted black cherry and licorice. This wine paired very nicely with our vegetarian meal of sauteed veggies (including tomatoes) over whole-wheat pasta topped with parmegian cheese.
