What a nice Costco wine surprise. Retails for $26 (?), see it advertised for $19, picked up at Costco for $13. Man, why didn't I pick up a case? An easy drinking zinfandel with a rare bit of finesse for this rather bold grape. I'm truly taken back by this wine which makes for a stand alone afternoon wine or a wine that can stand well with a meal. Lovely wine in spite of the high 15.5% alcohol content.

Sure was good, but balked at further purchases with the price when similar wines of comparable tastes or better were available from the same region at nearly half the price.

The best of Virginia's 2006 Nortons. Beautifully balanced Noton (90%) & Merlot (10%) with soft hints of oak and cherry. Aged in Virginia oak, ~ could this be the difference?

Our favorite rated norton wine. Have encountered now 25 Missouri norton vineyards and this is our number 1 choice. Now for the bad news, I think that the 2006 vintage is sold out. Shucks, have to wait until next year . . . . . . .

After tasting eleven Virginia and one Pennsylvania norton wines, the Cooper Vineyard 2006 Norton tops my preference of east coast norton wines.

Robller Vineyards has a Norton wine that goes perfectly well with either a picnic or formal dinner. Great value. As a college professor who knows wines stated at a blind wine tasting, "I don't know what this is, but this is what wine should taste like." This was his first tasting of any Norton wine, and it was from Robller.
