Burgale Rouge 2006
Added Mar 9, 2012 at 3:08pmExcellent value from the SouthWest of France, lots of pleasant savory aromas of herbs, spice and pepper but with a smooth medium body. Could easily become my everyday drinking wine.

Added Jan 31, 2012 at 11:14pmBig soft and ripe with well extracted flavors of briary fruit, all sorts of spices, boxwood and dill seed. Not over the top, but the volume dial is definitely turned up!

Added Jan 31, 2012 at 11:04pmVery ripe fruit in this unusally ripe vintage, but still maintains its typicite': grapefruit, minerality, crisp and dry with the pleasant acidity that I love.

Added Jan 31, 2012 at 9:32pmUpfront aromas of red fruit (raspberry and black cherry), leather and an herbal backdrop that leans toward cut hay and pine. Rustic in style and sour dominant, finishing with fine tea-like tannins and bitterness. This is a medium bodied wine having sharp cut and lots of charm.
