I've been holding onto this bottle since my visit to Napa in '98. I must say when I first opened it and had it breathe for about 15-20 minutes I was a bit disappointed in the first glass. Seemed a bit dull and the flavors didn't really jump out at me. Then I had a second glass and WOW! The hints of cherry, vanilla and plum really were noticeable with a nice long finish.
