    omark's Review:

This wine is just blah.. it is a little off in the finish (what there is of it) It has little acidity and almost no tannins the only thing it has going for it is balance but since there is hardly any structure there is not much there too balance.I will not be buying anymore of this wine.

This wine is the bomb.. The only reason I don't give it 5 glasses is because its peaking right now.. This is a fully mature big bodied incredibly smooth well balanced mouth watering treasure of a wine. It will hold on for a couple more years but you usually have to pay $50 to $100 for a california cab of this quality.

    omark's Review:

This wine is a winner.. Its got staying power and evolves tas you go thru the bottle It was still opening up when I fiinished the bottle the second day. It has between a medium and full body with great balance fiinish and plenty of complexity. This meets all my requirements for what I want in a california cab.

I really like this wine. It is drinking great now and has real potential to lay down and evolve over the next few years and imo will at least triple in value. For anyone that likes a full bodiied cab napa sytle this one fits like a glove. This wine I enjoyed over a couple of days and was evolving right up till the last drop. Great lingering finish and layers of concentration and complexity.

    omark's Review:

Let me say I did NOT like this wine. It has a funny nose and and a funny aftertaste. The fruit is way too over the top with too much red berry concentration.Wine Spectator may have given it a good rating and who knows someday it might evolve, but I want no part ot it there are way too many better wines out there in this price range.. Give me a California style cabernet anyday. If you are looking for a bargain price good australian cabernet and like the california cab style then go for the Darby and Joan 2008 cab which imo blows this stinker out of the water..

St Helena Rutherford Napa Valley Cabernet. For this price its a steal. This is the very best wine I have tasted in this price range.. In fact everytime I open a bottle I am flabbergasted at what an incredible value it is. You can check tasting notes but the only way I can really describe this wine is YUMMY! Its not too fruity and the fruit is perfectly balanced between black and red and it has a lingering finish the makes you want to gulp it.. I have to force myself to keep sipping. I really hate to give this little gem away because its one of those diamonds in the rough that when more people find out about it then it will be all gone before you know it.

I really liked this wine.. For the money it would be difficult to find a better buy in a cabernet. In fact other than the Lander Jenkins 2007 I have not found a better tasting cab in the $10 or less price range. It also has staying power as the next day it had evolved not devolved. Definitely can be laid down. It reminds me more of a domestic cab than what I would have expected from an Aussie cab.A good sipping wine at a price you can afford to drink a lot of.

This wine maybe past its prime. Otherwise its a real disappointment coming from what I had thought was a premium napa valley winery. It has good balance but no complexity and a very weak finish.. Where are the tannins ? This wine is overpriced and not a good value for what its being sold for. There are much better california cabs for half the price.
