Added Jun 20, 2012 at 10:37pmBig ripe red fruit on the nose... very ripe strawberries on the palate, followed by an interesting burnt caramel finish... prolly why many call this CANDY! For me, a great apertif or sipper... beware... easy to overchill or underchill.... very small window of optimal temperature IMO.

Added Jun 20, 2012 at 10:20pma wonderful rose made from 100% pinot noir clones from sonoma coast... a bleed-off of my fav pinot... the 2008 sonoma coast pinot noir. Picks up the same nuances... red, tart cherry, orange peel. Nice crisp sipper with DEPTH.

Added May 4, 2012 at 2:51amVery nice pinot... a bit jammy, as others have said for other vintages, but I got fair amount of cherry on the nose/palate of the 2009. Agree with a bergamot undertone, which is nice. This belies the darker color in this wine. It lacks big earthiness/barnyard nose. Well balanced, but also lacking the asian spice/orange peel I love in a pinot. Still a winner for me because of the big cherry/slight spice undertone- jammy rounds it out. And well balanced.

Added Apr 3, 2012 at 12:49amYoung strawberry and cherry on the palate.. fragrant orchard /floral nose. Although I am partial to stinky pinot roses, I have to say this rose is amazing. Nice fruity/dry balance, with a bit of a herbal tone that I liked. Very well balanced... Highly recommend. A very nice drinker now.
