Perhaps it was the gorgeous Athens weather, or the savory Greek food, but our small foursome fell in love with this wine. It is a clear garnet color--with a velvety feel. This Rapsani has the most inviting bouquet, and provides an aftertaste that echoes its luscious flavor. We paired it with pork, veal, lamb, and beef, and it proved to be an elegant companion to all four meats. We brought two bottles home with us, and I'm searching for more.
